Réparation d’un bec ténor T280SP “Spectruoso” François Louis

C’est l’histoire d’un bec…

En images, la réparation d’un bec François Louis de la série “Spectruoso” appartenant à José Menezes (Portugal). José m’a confié son bec ténor rendu inutilisable suite à une chute sur le sol. J’ai réparé le bec en utilisant un patch à base de résine époxy alimentaire, puis poncé le patch jusqu’à obtenir un alignement parfait avec les rails et préserver ainsi l’ouverture d’origine.

Here’s a photo gallery of a François Louis T280SP ‘Spectruoso’ tenor mouthpiece repair. José Menezes sent it to me from Portugal after it had fallen on the floor, damaging the tip and the side rail. I repaired the mpc using a food-grade epoxy resin based patch and sanded the patch to obtain a perfect alignment with the side rails and preserve the original opening.
